Boo did a Poo in our house!!

Boo is sooo naughtly!! and its sooo hard to toilet train him.

so last night simons mum is finally gone and we let the dogs run free inside the house.

Bella is semi toilet trained... Boo - not at all

Not only did he chew one of simons things last night, he peed on the floor and disappeared for about 5-10 minutes to leave chocolate droppings in front of our bedroom, bathroom and spare room!

GRRRR rascal!!! puppies are super cute and all, but toilet training is NOT fun...

today was our first "basset walk" - the first of many more to come

there were lots of bassets that showed up today and lots of puppies too!

the puppies were mainly Boo's brothers and sisters - the mum had a big litter of 9!

as you can see the bassets come in all sorts of sizes

from mini - Bella - she is very small for a basset her age ...hehehe..

to very large ones - who look like adorable fat sausage dogs.

we had so much fun and so did the dogs.

would you believe the whole time we had the bassets altogether, hardly any of barked or howled? they just get along!

long time no post

i know it has been a long time since the last bella post, but a lot has happened and the dogs are serial camera whores as you can see. They know how to strike a pose and demand to look their best at all times.

For most people this is your first look at our new basset BOO! he is an adorable little guy with a big heart and even bigger paws.

Boo has just started his puppy pre school classes and doing very well.
Tomorrow we have a huge Basset walk in kings park with other fellow basset owners - and we cant wait for our bella and boo to mingle and see the other bassets. will definitely take photos and put them on the blog to share with everyone.

with all the talk of puppies, new borns bla blah blaaaahhh... i have been sadly neglected to a newer and younger "model" of puppies.... sigh... but since the last batch of photos i have grown in size and weight! I am now about 16 kgs and growing! Dad still thinks im too small for a basset ( normal bassets my age are suppose to be about 20 kgs!! EEPPP!!) mum thinks im just perfect - i agree with her... hehehe...

puppy names

i didnt think we would ever get names for these pups. because when you start naming them - you get attached - VERY attached. And thats whats happened to me and simon. We are very attached to the newest members of our family. We think about these pups 24/7 - coz they are soooo cute and adorable!! They are now 12 days old and really big!! they are roughly 1.5 kgs each. i cant even use the kitchen scales to weigh them coz they're now too big!

Anyways let the introductions begin! This little angel is our little girl - Yoshi (Sorry ming we got caught up playing mario games we started naming them after mario characters - they're alternate names will be Harry, Ron & Hermione!!)
This big mouth is Bear boy (right in the middle of a yawn!) and mum licking his dirty bits...hehehe

This little fella is Boo - he loves to sleep on his back and snuggled between your legs.

These pups are sooo cute! because they are currently staying inside the house near the study area - i cant get any work done - all i do is stare at them sleeping, crawling, yawning, stretching and climb all over each other and their mum. all i want to do is cuddle them to death and play with them! thank god my teacher job this term is a lot more relaxed then last term!!

oooOOOoooOOOooo ... just before i forget - the pups have opened their eyes! finally !! puppies are born with their eyes closed and dont open them until the 9th-12th day. Ours are on the slow side and have only managed to open them today. They have gorgeous little black eyes that peep out and look at you!

it has been a very exciting week in our house. the arrival of 3 puppies from sasha and pooky has kept everyone busy and on their toes. so i have kidnapped bella's blog to post puppy piccies for everyone to see. one very proud mummy - sasha after giving birth to 3 very happy, healthy (fat) pups.

puppy no.1- a little boy, came out 8.50am thursday 19th july 2007. we call him screamer/whiney because he is so ******* noisy. just like the papa.
